Samsung, has released their latest range of mobile phones named Corby. The phone is also present in Indonesia with a choice of 2 Samsung S3650 Corby which has the advantage with its touch screen and the Samsung B3210 CorbyTXT has QWERTY with monoblock design. Corby’s arrival in Indonesia complete with the lure of price and features so-called friendly for mobile users who are still at school.

The first impression that arises from this product are: small, powerful color combination, and will feature heavy social network. This clearly shows the seriousness of Samsung aiming adolescents. Coupled with animated themes inherent in the main menu or applications.

However, one thing that is unfortunate is the limited ability of this mobile phone network connection. Connectivity via Wi-Fi or 3G is not found on this product.

Other features offered by this phone are:

* Screen: 2.8 “QVGA 262K TFT
* Camera: 2 Mega pixels
* Video: H.263, MP4

Besides spoiling the user with a variety of social networking applications like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. Through the touch screen, users only need to sweep a finger on the surface of this phone to move the picture. For music, the menu is embedded in this phone does not seem far adrift with earlier, Samsung Star. Users can search for favorite songs by artist, album, or type of music.

The sound quality was fairly ordinary mobile phone only, nothing special. Presence of Corby with a touch screen seems inseparable from the successful Samsung Star. Corby was offered at relatively affordable prices, which ranged IDR/Rp 1.650.000,-.

Samsung S3650 Corby supports full multitasking for applications or Java-based games, allowing us to run several programs at once like a smartphone or PDA.

Superior features on this phone is the Communities. With Communities we’re always connected with social networking sites like Facebook, Friendster, Twitter or MySpace. These applications can run in realtime like the BlackBerry, but of course you pay attention to the toll.

For Google, there are 3 choices of Google Search, Gmail and Google Maps. Not bad for those who want the push email features and GPS.

Other applications that are helpful include Mobile Tracker, RSS Reader and Picsel Document Viewer (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe PDF).

In conclusion, there are a variety of features and viewing funny interface makes this product worthy of being selected young mobile phone users and those who are youthful.

One disadvantage of this Corby is a virtual absence of a QWERTY keyboard can be a stumbling block for those who are “heavy texter”.***
